Hi, I’m Julia Merino, a Creative with 15+ years in advertising. My creative playground spans from culture to consumers. Over the past 10 years, I've worked on everything from shooting urban cowboys in Compton for Guinness to getting Fat Joe to run a marathon in the metaverse (yep, you read that right) for Rexona. I’ve teamed up with Grammy winners to create documentaries and custom tracks for Bacardi, turned "mother-f*ckers" into “mother-lovers” for Maltesers to tackle workplace inequality, and even convinced TENA to design a sex toy for older women.

Leading big teams or flying solo, I’ve collaborated with top brands, directors, artists, and everyone in between. Whether it’s brainstorming big ideas or getting hands-on in production, I’m all about creating work that hits hard, resonates, and gets results. I take pride in being both a seasoned art director and an awarded writer, ensuring every detail is crafted to perfection.

My portfolio spans Meta, IKEA, Samsung, Pepsi, Mercedes, and more, across every kind of media—TV, OLV, social, billboards (digital and real), and even wild experiential stunts in both the physical world and the metaverse.

Awards? I’ve picked up a few (Cannes Lions, D&AD, Creative Circle, etc.), and my work has been featured in the likes of Creative Review, Campaign, and Ad Age.
