Currys, the UK's largest electrical retailer, is on a mission: collecting, reusing, and recycling over 65,000 tonnes of electronic waste each year. But nobody knows it! In 2021, the UK ranked second in the world for e-waste generated per capita.

We all have that drawer stuffed with old phones and tangled cables, but most of us are clueless about how to dispose of them responsibly. So, we decided to turn heads and raise awareness in a bold way. We filled billboards with actual trash and strategically placed across the UK. People were encouraged to take the trash to Currys and swap your it for cash, helping us send a clear message: recycling is easy!
